The Intercultural Music Initiative presents French-Togolese singing sensation, Prisca Agbo (Pris-K), in a journey across Africa through songs and chants. Enjoy a concert that captures the wide spectrum of Africa’s rich cultural practices – spirituality, religion, community, work and play. Dive deeply into authentic songs sung in diverse African languages whose enchanting harmonies and rhythms will evoke a sense of peace, calm, and hope including: Efuo (Urhobo people of Nigeria), Hepepe (Botswana), Aleluya (traditional Shona gospel song from Zimbabwe), Domenshibe (Mina people of Benin), Anigy Aba (Akan language of Ghana), and many more. 

Prisca Agbo, is a talented singer known for her powerful voice and captivating stage presence. She is an international solo headliner with ongoing collaborations with various R&B and Gospel groups in the United Kingdom, France, and West Africa, and in 2023 made her US debut as a cultural exchange guest artist with the Intercultural Music Initiative in St. Louis, Missouri.

Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Africa as Prisca leads a choir of local singers to perform traditional chants and contemporary songs from around Africa. ​​Sonic Safari African Dance & Drum Ensemble is available all season for school shows and community outreach concerts. This program is simply electric for children and the whole family, featuring young artists showcasing incredible creativity, and phenomenal talents.
